Traditional Lessons

Children–Adult, all levels

Current openings for students interested in private lessons in piano, voice, guitar, violin, viola, cello, trumpet, trombone, recorder, flute, clarinet, and saxophone. Lessons begin in September with times and location arranged between student and teacher. Children and youth, ages 5–18, receive 15 weeks of instruction arranged as 13 private lessons and 2 group classes per semester.

Special note for piano students only:
Piano students ages 5–18 who have taken lessons for more than one year are required to participate in the spring National Guild piano evaluations. Level (Prep–Level IX) is determined by October.
 

Private Lesson Faculty Members Include:
Nancy Hoffmann-Gerber*, Barry Gould*, Joan Hatfield, Elizabeth Kaufmann, Ben Petrucci, and Sara Wyse-Wenger.

Private Lesson Tuition Fees
Tuition is based on 15 lessons/classes per semester.
Instruments, books, and other materials can be obtained through each private teacher as needed and purchased separately.
    30 min. lesson - $27 per lesson x 15 = $410
    45 min. lesson - $41 per lesson x 15 = $615
    60 min. lesson - $52 per lesson x 15 = $776

There is a $30 registration fee for each semester.

There is a one time registration fee if you would like to sign up for the entire year. However, tuition must be paid in full for the Fall semester and Spring semester by the first lesson in September.
