Traditional Lessons

Children–Adult, all levels
Offered in Burlington and Weston only
Limited availability in Lexington through LCA partnership

Current openings for students interested in private lessons in piano, voice, guitar, violin, viola, cello, trumpet, trombone, recorder, flute, clarinet, and saxophone. Lessons begin September 13, with times and location arranged between student and teacher. Children and youth, ages 5–18, receive 15 weeks of instruction arranged as 13 private lessons and 2 group classes per semester.

Special note for piano students only:
Piano students ages 5–18 who have taken lessons for more than one year are required to participate in the spring National Guild piano evaluations. Level (Prep–Level IX) is determined by October 14.

 

Private Lesson Faculty Members Include:
Margaret Ahn, Dorothy Allen, Patricia Anthony, David Berry, Barry Gould*, Nancy Hoffmann-Gerber*, Joan Hatfield, Elizabeth Kaufmann, Scott McKean, Ben Petrucci, Gretchen Williams, and Sara Wyse-Wenger.

Private Lesson Tuition Fees
Tuition is based on 15 lessons/classes per semester.
Instruments, books, and other materials can be obtained through each private teacher as needed and purchased separately.
    30 min. lesson - $27 per lesson x 15 = $410
    45 min. lesson - $41 per lesson x 15 = $615
    60 min. lesson - $52 per lesson x 15 = $776

There is a $25 registration fee for each semester.

There is a one time registration fee if you would like to sign up for the entire year. However, tuition must be paid in full for the Fall 2006 semester and Spring 2007 semester by the first lesson in September.
